The 4th graders at Southern Pines Elementary School are learning about series and parallel circuits. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if your holiday lights were designed using a series circuit? Each time a light malfunctioned, your entire strand of lights would go out!
That would not be very good!
These students enjoyed a lesson with the Arduino Uno mini computer system, circuit building,
and coding!
They created both series and parallel circuits and then wrote code using the Codebender App to make their LED lights blink in a certain pattern.
